My most recent crush is Qtile. I discovered
this window manager about two weeks ago, and I just can't stop
messing with the config files. For my needs it's as awesome as
Awesome, with the huge difference that
it's Python instead of Lua, so I feel more confident about what
I'm doing.
Not an original idea, I have been seing beautiful versions of this
for ages, normally with movie scripts squeezed into a painting frame
size. But I wanted to try my hand anyway. And with no less than
the whole effing text of Umberto Eco's The Name of the Rose.
So in my quest of complicating my life in the hopes of
eventually simplifying it, I switched from Thunderbird to
Neomutt.
In this post I will try to re-walk the steps I took in order to
have a functioning Neomutt setup, in case I need it for future
reference but also in case this eases the life of someone trying
to do the same.
